NitSig: Sigarra, but Neater
NitSig is a Chrome add-on developed by NIAEFEUP that aims to improve the user experience of SIGARRA, a popular software used by FEUP. By simplifying and decluttering the UI, NitSig provides a neater and more intuitive interface for users.
One of the notable features of NitSig is the introduction of a brand new navigation top bar, which makes it easier for users to navigate through different sections of SIGARRA. Additionally, the add-on enhances readability by using a more legible font, ensuring that users can easily access and understand the information displayed.
NitSig also brings improvements to student and teacher profiles, making them more user-friendly and intuitive. The add-on introduces collapsible sections in class unit pages, allowing users to expand or collapse specific sections based on their preferences. This feature helps to reduce clutter and provides a more organized view of the class unit content.
Moreover, NitSig enhances the user experience in schedules by implementing improvements that make it easier to view and manage class schedules. The add-on also offers auto-login functionality, eliminating the need for users to enter their credentials every time they access SIGARRA.
